Alaska in late March early April. tons of snow, mild winter temps, 14 hours of daylight. Lots of wildlife, moose, caribou, etc, views of Denali possible on the drive from Anchorage and back to Anchorage, as well on our last day of mushing.
There is an inherit need forguests to be in decent shape, and perhaps have some basic camping skills, but trips are designed to share our lifestyle and love of sled dogs with dog lovers, fans of sled dogs sports, and people who have the romantic desire to see a little bit of Alaska from the runners behind a dog team. We can accommodate almost all ages, children 12 and up with a parent. and we have taught active seniors well into their sixties how to mush. What our trips are not. They are not hair raising, adrenaline rushing, extreme trips.
