Sodwana Bay

The Sodwana Bay area is renowned for its scuba diving and deep sea fishing, but is also a great spot for land based shark fishing and the guides from Maverick Adventure Fishing
have landed a number of sharks and rays in the 100 to 120kg category while fishing
off the long sandy beaches and rock ledgers.

These sub-tropical waters also give the angler a chance to try for game fish with lighter tackle, Blue Fish, the Giant Kingfish or Jack (Caranx Ignobilis), and Pompano often being landed.

A short trip further north is Kosi Bay which is one of the few places in the world where one can snorkel over a coral reef situated in the lagoon and fish for Shark in the world famous Kosi Mouth.
