This exciting vacation combines the opportunity to experience amazing adventures in small groups. The first two nights are spent enjoying the rustic charm of the idyllic Blue Moon mountain retreat, then it’s of to buzzing Cabarete. This seaside town is not only famous for it’s world class water sports but also enjoys fabulous beaches and unrivaled nightlife in the Dominican Republic.

Monday: MOUNTAIN BIKING

3,000 feet Downhill Full Day Adventure

A chance to get out of the heat and into the heart of the country. It’s all downhill…literally! Enjoy a big breakfast then up to La Cienega for a coffee overlooking the beautiful Cibao Valley. Next, jump on our bikes for an exhilarating downhill bike ride right through the heart of the Septentrional Mountain.

Tuesday: CANYONING

Stimulate all your senses! Includes abseils and challenging jumps into deep pools of crystal clear water, waterslides and fantastic swims in an amazing tropical landscape.

Highlights:

  • Rappel of 50m
  • 3 Jumps of more than 10m
  • 15 Smaller jumps

Rated: Intermediate.

Includes: Transportation, all equipment, breakfast and snacks.

Time: 8am to 3pm.

What to bring: Rash vests, water shoes, sneakers or hiking boots (no sandals), sunscreen, waterproof camera, change of clothes and a towel.

Wednesday: REST DAY WITH EVENING SUNSET HORSEBACK BEACH RIDE

An exhilarating ride for all abilities with views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean surf of the North Coast. This ride is approx 3 hours long and includes drinks and fruit at the secluded ‘El Rocon’ beach bar.

Morning Option :
An introduction to surfing at Encuentro beach, one of the best breaks on the North Coast. Includes tuition, board hire, reef shoes and roundtrip transportation from Cabarete.

Thursday: WHITEWATER RAFTING

Explore the central highlands and experience a superb adventure on the Rio Yaque del Norte in Jarabacoa.

During this tour you have the opportunity to explore many rapids from quiet serene sections all the way up to level four sections. Enjoy encountering the fantastic scenery of the “Dominican Alps”. Experience jumping from the “El Cerrazo” rock and swimming through the “Crocodile” rapids.

Approximately 6 hours of rafting. Rated Class III at I to VI Class river.

Includes: Round trip transportation, all equipment including wet suits, breakfast, snacks and lunch.

Time: 7am to 7pm.

What to bring: Shorts, T-shirt, rubber soled shoes, change of clothes and ” a sense of adventure”

Saturday: CASCADING, CIGUAPA FALLS

Get away from the crowds with the ultimate “off the beaten track” excursion.

Hike deep into the Septentrional Mountain Range to discover the cascading experience of Ciquapa Falls.  Leap over a series of waterfalls as you immerse yourself in a Dominican wilderness discovered by few tourists.

Add to the experience and help the local community by riding a donkey for the hike out (40 minutes uphill).

Rated: Intermediate

Includes: Transportation, light breakfast & Dominican lunch.

Time: 8am to 2.30pm.

What to bring: Rash vest, water shoes, waterproof camera, change of clothes and a towel.
