“Fun” will be written all over your face after instruction and your personalized Shooting Experience with a variety of rifles, revolvers and pistols!

We look forward to greeting you when you arrive at the Jackson Hole Gun Club for your scheduled shooting experience!  We provide you with a safety briefing and basic instruction on shooting firearms.  Within 15 minutes of arrival you will be firing your first shot.  We customize the below based on each person in your party’s level of experience and desires.

We begin with rifles. You will be taught how to shoot numerous rifles, each one different from the last.  We spend 5 to 20 minutes on each rifle, shooting up to 700 shots per person!  We will make at least half a dozen rifles available to you, some of which include:
•Ruger 10-22 in .22 caliber, semi-automatic with red dot sight           •Ruger 10-22 in .22 caliber, MG-42 replica with red dot sight           •Ruger 10-22 in .22 caliber, semi-automatic with scope           •Rossi in .22 caliber, break action with iron sights           •Marlin in .22 caliber, bolt action with high power scope           •Henry in 22 caliber, lever action with tang iron sights           •Henry in 22 caliber, lever action with scope           •Savage in .22 caliber, single shot bolt action with scope

By now, we have been having a blast with rifles for about 2 hours.  It is time to move on to handguns!  There are two basic kinds of handguns; semi-automatic and revolver.  We begin with revolvers, then move on to semi-automatics, shooting up to 300 shots per person, spending 5 to 15 minutes with each of about 6 handguns, likely including:
•Ruger Mark III in .22 caliber, semi-automatic – Bull Barrel           •Ruger Single Action Revolver. 22 caliber           •Taurus Double Action Revolver .22 caliber           •Ruger Mark III in .22 caliber, semi-automatic           •Sig Sauer Mosquito  in .22 caliber, semi-automatic           •CZ-USA Kadet in .22 caliber, semi-automatic

By now, we have enjoyed another hour of fun with 22 caliber handguns, and are now ready to begin shooting our larger caliber handguns.  Included in your package are 5 shots with each of these guns, some of which include:
•CZ-75 in 9mm, semi-automatic           •Sig Sauer P-230 in .380 caliber, semi-automatic           •Sig Sauer P-226 in 9mm, semi-automatic           •Glock in .45 caliber, semi-automatic           •Springfield Armory 1911 in .45 caliber, semi-automatic              (in our opinion the best handgun of all time)

Now we introduce you to our larger caliber rifles.  As with the handguns, each shooter receives about 5 shots with each gun.  Our larger caliber rifles include:
•AK-47 with iron sights           •1940’s Yugoslavian Mauser with bayonet in 8mm           •Sig 556 Combat Rifle with telegraphic scope           •1928 Mosin Nagant Russian sniper rifle in 7.62 x 54R           •LWRC AR-15 with Aimpoint sight and 3X magnifier           •Remington 700 modern sniper rifle in .308 caliber with                           Leopold scope

By now you have had up to 4 hours of fun!  If we finish shooting all the guns before your time is up, we encourage you to keep shooting the 22 rifles & pistols or you may purchase additional ammunition and use the larger caliber guns.  The person paying for your experience is encouraged to tell the instructor at the beginning of the experience their preferred budget.  Most groups are very happy with the package without add-ons, and others allow each shooter an additional $20, $100 or $200 in larger caliber ammunition.  Ammunition prices are available on our website by clicking the “Guns & Ammunition” link to the left.

Our classes are tailored to meet your desires, so we can teach you combat tactics, beginner shooter’s techniques, how to have fun with the ‘Big Boys’, or our top shooting instructors can simply provide you with opportunity, targets and hundreds of ammunition rounds to plink at targets from 25 yards to 200 yards.
