Open Leaf Excursions set up a white-water rafting trip for my group of 9 in Crivitz, WI on the Pestigo River. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin that was fantastic and very accomodating. We rafted down the Peshtigo and were very happy with the low cost of the trip. The experience was a very positive memory for all! We then went on a 3 hour, 50 mile ATV ride which proved to be exactly what we were looking for…fun and lots of mud! Open Leaf Excursions did a fantastic job in meeting all our needs and providing great fun and memories. We will definitely go back next spring and book with Open Leaf!!

I would recommend you and the Inn to anyone who needed help planning a trip or a place to stay in the Sparta area. The biking was the perfect amount for us, we also kayaked with a place called Titanic Canoes. Anita at the Inn gave us a great tour of the Amish people who live in her area and even helped me get a great deal on some fruit. Dana’s [Adventure Concierge for Open Leaf Excursions] imagination and passion for the outdoors allows her to stretch the limits of what might normally be considered an “outdoor excursion.” She uses creative ideas and a wide array of outfitter relationships to provide engaging outdoor experiences for folks of all levels, from the die-hard outdoor enthusiast to the folks just wanting to get their feet wet. I’ve enjoyed serene bike rides on some of the best back roads available in the North woods of Wisconsin, as well as a midnight nature hike to admire the nighttime sky and the active “nightlife” of the forest. She can even satisfy the adrenaline rush more adventurous souls might be seeking with down-and-dirty mountain bike rides and whitewater trips. And to wind down a day’s worth of outdoor fun, I enjoyed open-air cuisine and relaxation courtesy of professional chefs and masseuse! You need not be concerned about your comforts level, as Dana’s passion is not just for the “outdoor-elitists,” but to simply engage all people in the wonder and beauty of what nature has to offer.

Ladies Weekend….what a blast and total rejuvenation!! Exquisite and catered healthy-eating cuisine…full body massage and/or manicure/pedicure right amidst the gorgeous Wisconsin North Country, cabin or tent accommodations, rustic mountain biking trek, dip in the local lake, stories by the campfire, night hikes and stargazing, napping in a hammock, RELAXATION as much as or as little as you were wanting to absorb…. Dana [Adventure Coordinator for Open Leaf Excursions] put together the most blissful weekend getaway that I have ever been a part of!!! She even managed perfect cooperation from the weather and mosquitoes!
